I grew up in Hunan and moved to Hong Kong for university, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance at the University of Hong Kong in 2019. I then continued my education in the United States, completing a master’s degree in Economics at Duke University in 2021 before beginning my Ph.D. at UCLA. I was a visiting scholar in the MIT Department of Economics in 2024–2025.
I enjoy traveling and learning about economies firsthand. My research trips have taken me to Mexico, Spain, and Vietnam.
